HB 1402 which seeks to deny illegal aliens has an amendment attached to it but I don’t think it was voted on so it’s not part of the bill yet.
Earline Rogers is trying to attach an amendment that will allow illegals to get in state tuition if they graduated high school in Indiana or have been here 3 years before seeking to enroll in college. ( Dream Act light )
Senator Jim Buck is the Senate sponsor of HB 1402 and we need to contact him to strip out and vote down this dream act amendment.
Contact Jim Buck S21@in.gov 800-382-9467 and ask for his legislative assistant. Also call your Senator instructing them how you want them to vote on HB 1402 without the Rogers amendment.
